The Porto do Pecém aroused the interest of the Dutch. A meeting held last Thursday (3), between the director of the Port of Rotterdam, Roger CLASQUIN, and the governor, Camilo Santana, discussed the plans of investments planned for the complex.
According to Santana, the Dutch are interested in investing in the port, “which will be very important for job creation and development of the region,” he said. The Rotterdam port is the main Europe and one of the world’s largest.
Located in São Gonçalo do Amarante, the port complex already has the technical and technological advice of Rotterdam directors since September 2015.
They were also present at the meeting secretaries Élcio Batista, chief of staff, Andrew Facó, Secretary of Infrastructure and President of the Company of Ceará Port Integration (Ceará Portos), Danilo Serpa.
